clinical placements, student responsibilities, and
college policies.
Yes. North View College arranges supervised clinical placements
through approved healthcare and long-term care partner agencies.
Placements are provided as part of the program curriculum and
are subject to availability and capacity.
For quality learning and resident safety, clinical partner
agencies may limit the number of students per placement.
Typically, a maximum of ten (10) students may be accommodated
at one time, depending on the facility.
Students are supervised by qualified college instructors
in coordination with designated staff members at the
placement facility. The healthcare agency retains overall
responsibility for resident care and safety.
Students must follow all agency policies, procedures,
confidentiality requirements, and health and safety rules.
Professional behavior, punctuality, and respect for
residents, staff, and instructors are mandatory at all times.
In rare cases such as emergencies, safety concerns, or
circumstances beyond the control of the college or agency,
placements may be temporarily suspended. Students will be
informed promptly, and alternative arrangements will be
considered whenever possible.
