Student Expulsion Policy

Policy Overview

North View College is committed to providing a safe, respectful, and academically sound learning environment. While the College makes every reasonable effort to support students in successfully completing their programs, expulsion may be necessary in cases where academic integrity, safety, or ethical standards are compromised.

Voluntary Withdrawal Procedure

Students wishing to withdraw from their program must personally notify the Campus Director and submit a formal written notice of withdrawal. A meeting will be scheduled with the Campus Director or designate to finalize records and ensure all academic and administrative matters are properly completed.

Failure to follow the official withdrawal process may result in failing grades becoming part of the student’s permanent academic record.

Commitment to Fair Treatment

North View College is committed to fairness, equity, and due process. Expulsion is considered a last resort. In most cases, progressive discipline such as verbal warnings, written warnings, or suspension will be applied before expulsion.

However, the College reserves the right to impose immediate expulsion where the safety, integrity, or well-being of students, staff, or visitors is at risk.
